Day 1

Kampala or Entebbe to Bwindi

Depart early and travel south-west through Uganda's countryside, with an Equator stop at Kayabwe where the route allows.
Continue through Mbarara and the rolling highlands towards the confirmed Bwindi trekking sector.
Arrive at your forest-edge lodge, check in and receive a briefing about the next day's trek.
Dinner and overnight near Buhoma, Ruhija, Rushaga or Nkuringo according to permit allocation.
