Day 1

Arrival in Kigali and Transfer to Volcanoes

Meet your Sinza Safaris guide at Kigali International Airport or your hotel after breakfast.
If your arrival time permits, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial or a local craft centre before leaving the city.
Drive north through Rwanda's famous hills, terraced farmland and villages to Musanze and Kinigi, with stops for photographs and refreshments.
Check in, receive a gorilla trekking briefing, confirm your permit and prepare sturdy shoes, rainwear and a small daypack.
Overnight: Volcanoes National Park area. Meal plan: lunch and dinner.
